Chef Greg Atkins Visits Family and Consumer Science Department

Story by Mrs. Lila Dodd. Monday, March 14th recruiter and professional chef Greg Atkins presented to Mrs. Dodd's classes about the Art Institute in Atlanta. There are 44 Art Institutes in the United States from California to Florida. Chef Atkins showed many examples of students' work from the institute. Computer animation and fashion design are just two examples of career choices at the institute. The Haleyville Center of Technology at Haleyville City Schools offers career and technical education programs to all students in our district. These programs are designed to prepare youth for a broad range of employment and further education and are offered under the guidance of certified teachers.
