The Haleyville Center of Technology was established in 1973 in order to better prepare students for the world of work. In keeping with the original purpose, the Center of Technology is preparing students for the 21st century workforce by offering 21st century career tech skills in multiple career pathways today. The New Year is a time for reflection and for looking ahead and at Haleyville High School and the Haleyville Center of Technology we are very excited to begin the 2nd half of the 2011-2012 school year and we look forward to the progress that we will make over the next few months. It is our New Year’s resolution to ensure that all students continue to gain the skills to make them productive citizens but we can’t do this alone!

HCT CAR, TRUCK AND SPECIAL INTEREST VEHICLE SHOW - OCT 8TH

CAR, TRUCK & SPECIAL INTEREST VEHICLE SHOW- Oct 8
HCT is sponsoring a Car, Truck and Special Interest Vehicle Show on Saturday - Oct. 8 from
8:00-12:00. Prizes will be awarded - Trophys for Top 10 cars, Trophys for Top 10 Trucks,
Trophys for Top 10 Special Interest Vehicles and Best of Show.

Lady Lions State Bound!

The Haleyville High Lady Lions softball team beat  #1 ranked Alexandra and then beat Springville for runner up in the Regional tournament. Today the Lady Lions will be playing in the state finals at Montgomery. Good Luck Lady Lions!

The Haleyville Center of Technology at Haleyville City Schools offers career and technical education programs to all students in our district. These programs are designed to prepare youth for a broad range of employment and further education and are offered under the guidance of certified teachers.
